The Light Adjustable Lens
We’re proud to announce that The Eye MDs now offers the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) from RxSight. Until now, surgeons relied upon the accuracy of pre-surgery measurements to determine a cataract patient’s post-operative prescription power. However, with the LAL, a patient’s vision can be adjusted after surgery. This is a revolutionary breakthrough for cataract patients, the LAL is the only intraocular lens that can be adjusted after surgery, giving the eye time to heal before finalizing the prescription.
With the Light Adjustable Lens cataract patients can:

- Possibly be glasses free with a blended vision, having one eye better at distance and the other better at near
