Biography
Dr. Lazer entered college at the age of 16 and graduated from Simon’s Rock Early College in Massachusetts and completed medical school at The University of Virginia College of Medicine. He completed his residency in eye surgery at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Lazer is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Lazer’s special interest is eyelid surgery; he is one of a few surgeons in Ohio and West Virginia to use a laser to perform eye lid surgery. Dr. Lazer also has interest in new technologies for cataract surgery, including presbyopia-correcting Advanced Technology implants, toric implants, and Laser-assisted Cataract surgery.
