David S. George, MD
 
Education and Certification
Dr. George graduated from Ohio State University with distinction. He completed medical school at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, completed his internship at Riverside Hospital and his residency in eye surgery at The Ohio State University. Dr. George is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. He is a member of the board of directors for the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society (OOSS). His special interests include laser assisted cataract surgery, refractive surgery (LASIK and PRK), cataract surgery (including Advanced Technology  implants), glaucoma and diabetic eye care. Dr. George began doing refractive surgery in 1999 and he offers wavefront technology for patients in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Dr. George has both VISX Star S4 and VISX CustomVue Laser Certifications for Laser Vision Correction.  Dr. George is currently attending Harvard University completing a Masters in Health Care Management degree.
 
Personal Pursuits
A native of Marietta, Ohio, Dr. George has two daughters, Monica and Valerie. Dr. George organizes surgical missions and has traveled to impoverished countries many times to perform eye surgery. On these missions, he and his staff volunteer their time to provide sight for the poor and blind, as well as help educate local doctors.
 
 
 
Dr Scott Strickler
 
 
Scott H. Strickler, MD
 
Education and Certification
Dr. Strickler graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College and completed medical school at West Virginia University College of Medicine where he was vice president of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical school honor society. He completed his internship at Riverside Hospital and his residency in eye surgery at the Ohio State University. Dr. Strickler is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Strickler has a special interest in Endocyclophotocoagulation (ECP) to treat glaucoma at the time of cataract surgery.
 
Personal Pursuits
Dr. Strickler is a native of Williamstown, WV. He and his wife have two sons. He enjoys physical fitness and flying airplanes. Dr. Stickler has volunteered his time and skills on surgical missions to Nicaragua. He is a member of the Board for West Virginia Wesleyan College.  
      
 
 
 
 
Dr Zane Lazer
 
 
Zane P. Lazer, MD
 
 
Education and Certification
Dr. Zane Lazer  was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He started college at age 16 and graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine as one of the youngest students in the history of the medical school. He published papers on surgical techniques while performing research at Harvard Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology eye surgery training at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
 
 
Dr. Lazer has a special interest in state-of-the-art eyelid surgery utilizing the Carbon Dioxide Laser. The Carbon Dioxide Laser reduces the risks of bleeding and bruising associated with eyelid surgery and allows for much quicker recovery compared to traditional surgery with a scalpel.
 
Dr. Lazer also has a special interest in new technologies for cataract surgery, including presbyopia-correcting Advanced Technology implants, toric implants, relaxing incisions for astigmatism, and the use of topographic data for implant selection.
 
Personal Pursuits 
Dr. Lazer is a native of Winchester, VA. He and his wife have one daughter. He enjoys reading international fiction and loves to travel overseas. He enjoys sailing locally and in deep waters abroad. Dr. Lazer is a member of the Board of Directors for the Ely Chapman Foundation. He currently serves on the Marietta City School Board.
 
 
 
 
 
Dr. Petr Boshinski  
Petr Boshinski, OD
 
Education and Certification
Dr. Boshinski graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. While in school he was an active member of the Epsilon Psi Epsilon fraternity as Athletics Chair, the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, and served as a trustee on the national board of the American Optometric Student Association. He has a special interest in Low Vision Rehabilitation and Vision Therapy. 
 
Personal Pursuits 
Born in Harrisburg, PA, Dr. Boshinski attended York College of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate degree where he played violin in the college orchestra. He is an avid skier, hiker, and enjoys playing sports in his spare time. On Saturdays Dr. Boshinski cheers on the Buckeyes and has been an OSU fan since childhood.
